The TCU Horned Frogs battle the Creighton Bluejays in the quarterfinals of the NIT college basketball tournament.

The TCU Horned Frogs pounded the Nebraska Cornhuskers 88-72 as a 4.5 point favorite on Sunday to secure a spot in the NIT quarterfinals.

Desmond Bane led the Horned Frogs rout with 30 points and eight rebounds with JD Miller tossing in 15 points and grabbing seven boards.

Kouat Noi and Kendric Davis gave Texas Christian 12 points apiece followed Kevin Samuel and Alex Robinson with a combined 19 points and ten rebounds.

The Creighton Bluejays handily defeated the Memphis Tigers 79-67 as a 5.5 point home favorite to advance to the NIT quarterfinals.

The twosome of Marcus Zegarowski and Mitch Ballock tossed in 14 points with ten rebounds and eleven helpers to lead the Bluejays attack.

Davion Mintz and Martin Krampelj gave Creighton 12 points apiece followed by Ty-Shon Alexander with eleven points and six boards while Kaleb Alejandro Joseph added eight points and ten rebounds.

Creighton Bluejays are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and  are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up win and  are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win and  are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.

TCU Horned Frogs are 11-0 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games and  are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 Tuesday games and  are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win.

Creighton has done just fine away from home which is a big deal after opening the tournament with a pair of games on their home floor…
