Indiana State Sycamores (8-3) at TCU Horned Frogs (10-1)
|Date & Time||Tuesday December 25, 2018, 9:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: TCU Horned Frogs -11.5 -- Over/Under: 145
The Indiana State Sycamores and the TCU Horned Frogs will match up in college basketball action on Tuesday.
Indiana State comes into this one at 8-3 on the season. So far the Sycamores have taken out Green Bay, McKendree, Western Kentucky, San Jose State, Wright State, Truman, Colorado and UNLV.
In the Rebels game, Indiana State’s Jordan Barnes logged 28 points with five assists and three rebounds, while Tyreke Key managed 16 points and four rebounds. Also in double-figures for the Sycamores were Emondre Rickman (13 points) and Bronson Kissinger (11 points).
Over on the TCU side, they’re 10-1 on the year thus far. Since their loss to Lipscomb on November 20, the Frogs have beaten Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, SMU, USC, Indiana State, Charlotte and Bucknell.
In the Bison game, TCU’s Desmond Bane logged 16 points with seven rebounds, while Jaylen Fisher and Kevin Samuel each had 14 points (and Samuel nearly doubled up with nine rebounds).
The Sycamores are 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall and 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall and 6-2 ATS in their last eight non-conference games. Indiana State is 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight neutral-site games and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 Tuesday games.
Meanwhile, the Frogs are 7-0 ATS in their last seven overall and 7-0 ATS in their last seven non-conference games. TCU is 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Missouri Valley.
These two teams just met back on December 16, and that ended up being a 90-70 win for TCU. That was something of a down-game for the Sycamores, but it’s worth noting, especially with the decent-sized line here. I don’t think Indiana State will get pummeled quite so handily here, so I’m going with the Sycamores to cover (but probably still lose).
