The Nebraska Cornhuskers and TCU Horned Frogs meet Sunday in the second round of the college basketball NIT Tournament at the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers look for another victory after beating Butler in a competitive first round matchup. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are averaging 71.6 points on 42.9 percent shooting and allowing 67.5 points on 42.1 percent shooting. James Palmer Jr. is averaging 19.7 points and three assists while Isaac Copeland Jr. is averaging 14 points and 5.4 rebounds. Glynn Watson Jr. is the third double-digit scorer and Isaiah Roby is grabbing 7.1 rebounds. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are shooting 33.4 percent from beyond the arc and 69.8 percent from the free throw line. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are allowing 33.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32.1 rebounds per game. The Nebraska Cornhuskers have lost each of their last six road games.

The TCU Horned Frogs look for another win after a comfortable first round victory over Sam Houston State. The TCU Horned Frogs are averaging 74.3 points on 46 percent shooting and allowing 70.2 points on 43.1 percent shooting. Desmond Bane is averaging 15.2 points and 2.4 assists while Kouat Noi is averaging 13.9 points and 4.9 rebounds. Alex Robinson is the third double-digit scorer and JD Miller is grabbing 6.6 rebounds. The TCU Horned Frogs are shooting 34.9 percent from beyond the arc and 67.4 percent from the free throw line. The TCU Horned Frogs are allowing 30.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.6 rebounds per game. The TCU Horned Frogs have lost four of their last six home games.

The Cornhuskers are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 non-conference games, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Sunday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Horned Frogs are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall. The Cornhuskers are 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. The over is 5-2 in Horned Frogs last 7 overall. The over is 7-2 in Cornhuskers last 9 overall.

The TCU Horned Frogs really crashed and burned to finish the season, but they look like they found their mojo in their first round matchup and are going to suck things up and make the best out of a disappointing season. The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been kind to us in the underdog role in the past and are always competitive defensively, but they've lost six straight road games and are losing on the road this season overall by an average of 9.3 points while allowing 49 percent shooting. It's hard to make a case for the Cornhuskers with those numbers. I'll lay the bucket with TCU at home.

TCU -3.5
