The Temple Owls match up with the Belmont Bruins in a play in game of the NCAA college basketball tournament.

The Temple Owls season was cut short in an 80-74 defeat at the hands of the Wichita State Shockers as a 1.5 point favorite in the AAC playoffs.

Shizz Alston Jr. topped the Owls attack with 20 points and three assists followed by Ernest Aflakpui with 16 points and a game high 19 rebounds.

Temple received 17 points and six boards from Quinton Rose while Nate Pierre-Louis tossed in eleven points with five pulls and three helpers.

The Belmont Bruins saw their bid to win the Ohio Valley postseason go by the wayside in a 77-65 loss to the Murray State Racers in the title game.

The Bruins big offense was held in check with Dylan Windler leading the way with 17 points, 12 rebounds and five helpers with Kevin McClain adding 14 points, seven boards and four assists.

Grayson  Murphy  gave Belmont  ten  points and  four  helpers while three other players contributed between 6-7 points.
