The Gamecocks are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Skyhawks are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games and just 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games overall.
Jacksonville State has won 9 of their last 11 games and has been solid on both ends of the court this season as the Gamecocks rank 100th in scoring offense, T-79th in scoring defense, and 28th in defensive FG%.
UT Martin has lost 11 of their last 12 games and although they do have a decent scoring offense that ranks 110th in College Basketball, the Skyhawks have really struggled defensively as they currently rank just 338th in scoring defense and 347th in defensive FG%.
Jacksonville State lost their first home game of the season to Austin Peay, however, this is a very good basketball team that has some solid road wins this season at Evansville & Belmont. UT Martin is a much better team at home, however, between the fact that the Gamecocks have been solid ATS on the road as of late and that I think their offense will have no issue against the Skyhawks defense, I think Jacksonville State bounces back in this one and covers this large road spread.
