The Tennessee Volunteers have won five of their last seven games and are coming off a blowout loss to the Auburn Tigers in the SEC Championship. The Raiders are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win, 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Volunteers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 NCAA Tournament games. The over is 4-0 in Volunteers last 4 overall. The over is 5-1 in Volunteers last 6 neutral site games. The over is 5-1 in Raiders last 6 overall. The under is 11-5-1 in Raiders last 17 non-conference games.
Give the Colgate Raiders credit for what they've done this season, but the bottom line is that they simply don't play teams like Tennessee often. Colgate did have an out of conference schedule that included Penn State, Pittsburgh and South Florida, and all of those games were comfortable losses. The Tennessee Volunteers are athletic, long, physical and skilled, and they're an experienced bunch that knows they can't play around. I look for the Vols to come out hot and put Colgate away early. This is head and shoulders the toughest game of the season for Colgate, and we haven't seen this club battle tested enough to think it can hang around.
