The Texas A&M Aggies snapped their 3-game losing streak and improved to 7-7 (1-2 SEC) on the season after upsetting the Alabama Crimson Tide, 81-80, this past Saturday. Texas A&M trailed by a 43-32 margin at halftime, however, fought back late in the 2nd half to make it a game and was able to securing the victory on a dramatic TJ Starks three-pointer as time expired. Texas A&M shot 43.8% from the field and committed just 3 turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Aggies was Josh Nebo who had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

Defensively, Texas A&M is allowing their opponents to average 72.8 ppg on 40.8% shooting from the field. The Aggies have a rebound margin of 3.4 and a turnover margin of -0.3.

The Tigers are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 road games and just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. SEC opponents. The Aggies are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Auburn has won 3 of their last 5 games and have been solid on both ends of the court this season as they rank 19th in scoring offense, 62nd in scoring defense, and 68th in rebound margin. Texas A&M has won 6 of their last 9 games and currently rank 141st in scoring offense & 65th in defensive FG%.

Auburn is one of better teams in a very tough SEC conference this season, however, the Tigers have struggled on the road in conference play so far this season, dropping both their road games to NC State & Ole Miss. Texas A&M is going to struggle to be a .500 team in SEC play this season, however, they are coming off a very impressive victory at Alabama and did play a tough non-conference schedule which is a large reason they are just 7-7 overall this season. Texas A&M should have a bunch of confidence after their win agianst the Crimson Tide and as the Tigers offense hasn’t looked great on the road as of late, I think the play here is to go with the home team and the points. Take Texas A&M to cover.
