Tuesday night MAC college basketball pits the Toledo Rockets against the Ohio Bobcats.

The Ohio Bobcats have struggled for consistency in all areas which ha the team looking at a 3-9 conference record. Ohio comes off of a 69-60 loss at the Western Michigan Broncos where the Bobcats held a 43.4%-37.9% shooting edge but fell short 13-5 at the stripe.

The balanced Ohio attack featured 14 points and four assists from Teyvion Kirk with Jordan Dantis adding 13 points and five pulls. Gavin Block gave the Bobcats 13 points and four yanks while Mike Laster netted 12 points.

The Toledo Rockets lead the MAC West  behind consistent scoring  and defense. Toledo has won three in a row following a 73-67 decision at the Miami(OH) Redhawks. The Rockets sank shots at 45.1% and held a 21-7 edge at the line to overcome 37.8% shooting and 23 more Redhawks shots. 

Nate Navigato topped the Toledo offense with 19 points and six boards with Tre’Shaun Fletcher adding 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jaelan Sanford gave the Rockets 15 points while Luke Knapke and Taylor Adway scored seven points each. 

Ohio are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games and under is 15-3 in Ohio last 18 vs. Mid-American and under is 10-2 in Ohio last 12 overall. Toledo are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games and under is 16-6 in Toledo last 22 vs. Mid-American and under is 8-3 in Toledo last 11 Tuesday games. Ohio  are 2-11 ATS in the last 13 meetings.

If Toledo plays their game it shouldn’t matter what the Bobcats do because it will be a one sided affair…
