The Line: Toledo Rockets -4.5 -- Over/Under: 148
The Penn Quakers and the Toledo Rockets will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Penn heads into this one at 10-2 on the season. Since falling to Oregon State, Penn has rattled off wins over Stockton, Delaware State, Miami FL, La Salle, Villanova and New Mexico in succession.
In the Lobos game, Penn’s AJ Brodeur led the team on 20 points with nine rebounds and four assists. Michael Wang had a good game for the Quakers, nearly missing a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.
Over on the Toledo side, they’re 11-1 this year. Since dropping to Wright State, Toledo has dispatched FGCU, Louisiana, UC Irvine, North Alabama, Cleveland State, Detroit, Marshall, Middle TN and Cornell.
In the Cornell game, Toledo’s Jaelan Sanford put up 29 points with five assists and five rebounds, while Nate Navigato had 17 points and one assist. Chris Darrington also hit double-figures for the Rockets with 10 points.
The Quakers are 4-0 ATS in their last four Saturday games and 5-0 ATS in their last five following a straight-up win. Penn is 5-0 ATS in their last five overall and 4-1 ATS in their last four road games.
Meanwhile, the Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last four following a straight up win and 4-0 ATS in the last four conference games. Toledo is 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six following an ATS win.
Penn looked like they were moving in molasses in that Oregon State game (not to mention the Kansas State game), but seem to have brushed it off and moved on.
As for Toledo, they’re moving along quite well right now and dispatching anything thrown their way. I like the Rockets to keep rolling and cover here.
