Towson Tigers -2 O/U: 132.5
The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens and the Towson Tigers will meet up on the college basketball court Thursday.
The Hens enter this one at 15-11 on the year. Following a three-game losing streak against Elon, William & Mary and Charleston, Delaware won their last outing versus UNCW on Saturday.
In the win over the Seahawks, Delaware’s lead scorer was Ryan Allen, with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists. Kevin Anderson added 14 points for the Hens there, and Eric Carter doubled up on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Over on the Towson side, they’re 9-16 this season. The Tigers have won two of their last three games, with a loss to Charleston sandwiched between wins over UNCW and James Madison.
In the win over the Dukes, Towson’s Brian Fobbs was the only player in double-figures on the team, with 29 points, five rebounds and two assists. Nakye Sanders had a solid line for the Tigers in that one with nine points, eight rebounds and three assists.
The Hens are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 Thursday games and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six overall. Delaware is 0-5-1 ATS in their last six versus the CAA and the under is 6-1 in their last seven after a straight-up win.
Meanwhile, the Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six versus the CAA. Towson is 4-9 ATS in their last 13 after a straight-up win and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 home games.
Delaware has gone through a pretty rough stretch of games lately, and even though they’ve got a handful of solid scorers on their top end, the lineup hasn’t produced with a whole lot of consistency lately.
Towson has some scoring issues these days as well, with 66 or fewer points in three of their last four games. The Hens should take the cover here, but it’s probably not one to mess with in reality.
