North Dakota State Bison (1-3) at Towson Tigers (1-3)
|Date & Time||Saturday November 17, 2018, 2:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: Towson Tigers +3.5 -- Over/Under: 139
The North Dakota State Bison and the Towson Tigers will match up in college basketball activity on Sunday.
North Dakota State comes into this one with a 1-3 record so far. The Bison fell in their opener to New Mexico State, but then took out UCSB 82-63 in game two. After falling to Miami (OH) 89-78, ND State dropped to Incarnate Word 80-78.
In the Saturday game, North Dakota State’s Tyson Ward led the way on 14 points and six rebounds, while Rocky Kreuser put up 13 points and three boards. The only other Bison in double-figures was Jared Samuelson with 12.
Over on the Towson side, they’re sitting at 1-3 as well. The Tigers dropped to Virginia in their opener 73-42, then crushed Wesley 93-66 before falling to Pepperdine Friday 74-65.
In the Saturday game versus Florida Atlantic, Towson was defeated 85-71. Leading the team’s scoring in that one was Nicholas Timberlake with 14, and Tobias Howard added 10 points and eight assists.
The Bison are 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the CAA and 2-5 ATS in their last seven following a straight-up loss. North Dakota State is 7-22 ATS in their last 29 non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Tigers are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 overall and 1-8 ATS in their last nine following an ATS loss. Towson is 0-4 ATS in their last four neutral-site games and 0-6 ATS in their last six non-conference games.
Well, there aren’t a lot of positive things to say about ND State outside of that UCSB game, aside from the fact that they’re scoring pretty well over their last three outings.
Towson is in something of the same shape, but they haven’t improved as well. I’m probably going to go with the Bison to get the cover here.
