Troy Trojans -3.5 O/U: 149.5
The Arkansas State Red Wolves and the Troy Trojans will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Arkansas State comes in here at 10-13 on the season. The Red Wolves have lost two of their last three games, with a win over Little Rock sandwiched between losses to Coastal Carolina and South Alabama.
In the loss to the Jaguars, Arkansas State’s Tristin Walley led the charge with 16 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Ty Cockfield added 16 points for the Red Wolves there, and Marquis Eaton put up 10 points with five boards.
Over on the Trojans’ side, they’re 10-12 this year. The Trojans have lost their last four straight games, dropping to LA-Monroe, Louisiana, South Alabama and Little Rock in succession during that span.
In the loss to Little Rock, Troy’s Javan Johnson put up 16 points with six rebounds and one assist to lead the team. Darian Adams added 15 points there, and Malik Burnett chipped in 10 points for the Trojans.
The Wolves are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games. Arkansas State is 1-8 ATS in their last nine overall and 1-8 ATS in their last nine versus the Sun Belt.
Meanwhile, the Trojans are 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four overall. Troy is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four versus the Sun Belt and the over is 4-1 in their last five Saturday games.
It’s been a pretty rough stretch of games for the Red Wolves, and they’ve logged 64 or fewer points in four of their last six outings. That was nearly the case the last time these two teams met, as AR State managed a 66-65 home win early last month.
With Troy bagging at least 70 points in each of their last three, I’m going to go with the Trojans to get some home revenge and cover here.
