The South Florida Bulls go on the road to oppose the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in Saturday college basketball action.
The South Florida Bulls resurgence continued after a 76-68 win against visiting Connecticut on Wednesday.
South Florida was down eight at the break before a 51 point second half run secured the win behind 43.8% shooting and nine more makes at the stripe.
Laquincy Rideau was the Bulls top weapon with 25 points, eight rebounds and four helpers on 9-19 accuracy and 7-13 at the line with David Collins adding 17 points and six boards on 4-9 shooting and 8-11 at the stripe.
USF received 12 points, eight boards and four blocks from Alexis Yetna while Xavier Castaneda chipped in with eight points.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane saw their five game winning streak come to an end in a 74-56 loss at unbeaten Houston on Wednesday. Tulsa trailed by eleven at the half with just 30.9% shooting doing them in.
Martins Igbanu was the top Golden Hurricane threat with 18 points and eight rebounds on 6-8 marksmanship and 6-9 at the stripe. DaQuan Jeffries gave Tulsa ten points and six boards on 2-11 from the floor and 4-4 at the line while Sterling Taplin and Jeriah Horne combined for 15 points.
