The Tulsa Golden Hurricane host the Temple Owls in Atlantic Ten college basketball.

The Temple Owls are riding a two game winning streak after throttling UConn 81-63 on Wednesday as a 3.5 point home favorite.

Temple put this out of reach early with a 46-20 half time advantage behind 52.7% from the floor including 11-23 from deep.

Shizz Alston Jr. led the Owls rout with 18 points, four pulls and five helpers with Nate Pierre-Louis adding 17 points, four yanks and four assists.

Temple received 13 points and three boards from Justyn Hamilton followed Quinton Rose with 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane come in off a 79-68 defeat at Wichita State as a 4.5 point underdog which kept the team buried in the standings.

Tulsa was behind by four points heading to the locker room but 53.2% shooting was negated by 18 turnovers which gave the 44.6% shooting Shockers 18 more looks.

The  balanced Golden  Hurricane  saw 16 points and  six boards from Jeriah Horne with Curran Scott tossing in eleven points.

DaQuan Jeffries gave Tulsa ten points and five boards followed by Darien Jackson and Sterling Taplin with ten and nine points.

Temple Owls are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and Owls are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. American Athletic Conference.

Tulsa Golden Hurricane are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss and Tulsa Golden Hurricane are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games.

Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings and Temple Owls are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings.

I’d give the Golden Hurricane a shot at home where they are at their best…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
