The UAB Blazers welcome the UTSA Roadrunners to town for CUSA college basketball action.

The Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners saw six game winning streak come to an end in an 89-86 defeat at Middle Tennessee on Thursday.

UTSA found themselves down 14 points at the intermission with a late rally running out of time with the Blue Raiders holding a 22-4 edge at the line.

Jhivvan Jackson led the  Roadrunners  comeback  with 25  points with Keaton  Wallace adding 24 points and ten rebounds.

Byron Frohnen gave Texas-San Antonio nine points, eight boards and three helpers followed by Nick Allen with eight points and six pulls.

The Alabama-Birmingham Blazers avoided a three game skid with a 76-63 victory against UTEP on Thursday as a seven point home favorite.

UAB trailed by three points at the halfway  point  but dominated the second half with a 52.7%-39.2% edge in marksmanship.

Lewis Sullivan led the Blazers comeback with 18 points and ten rebounds while Zack Bryant added 14 points, four boards and four pulls.

Tavin Lovan gave Alabama-Birmingham another 14 points and five boards followed Tyreek Scott-Grayson with a ten point effort.

UTSA Roadrunners are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and UTSA Roadrunners are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Conference USA and UTSA Roadrunners are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games overall. UAB Blazers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and under  is 4-1 in Blazers last 5 home games.

The Roadrunners were completely unprepared against MTSU and I think they are in this from start to finish…
