The Cal State Northridge Matadors visit the UC Davis Aggies in Wednesday night college basketball.

The  Cal State  Northridge  Matadors come  off  of a  70-64  defeat at  UC Santa  Barbara as  an  eight point  underdog  a week  ago.

Cal State Northridge led by  a single  point  before the  Gauchos surged ahead late with CSN hitting 1-21 from long range.

Lamine Diane kept the Matadors competitive pouring in 28 points and posting five pulls with Terrell Gomes tossing in ten points.

Rodney Henderson Jr. gave Cal State Northridge nine points and seven rebounds followed by Darius Brown II with eight points, four pulls and six helpers.

The UC Davis Aggies are playing their best basketball with three consecutive victories following a 61-57 win at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday.

UC Davis led by six  at the  intermission  and kept  the  Gauchos at arm’s length behind a 43.1%-39.2% edge in marksmanship.

TJ Shorts II paced the Aggies attack with 21 points followed by Joe Mooney who tossed in 13 points and posted three yanks.

UC Davis received nine points and four boards from AJ John while Stefan Gonzalez and Garrison Goode chipped in with six points and nine rebounds.
