The UC Irvine Anteaters go on the road to tangle with the UC Davis Aggies.

The UC Irvine Anteaters stayed hot with a 74-47 rout of the Cal Poly Mustangs as a 15 point favorite on their home floor.

Surging UC Irvine has amassed nine consecutive victories and sit alone atop the Big West behind consistent offense and stifling defense.

Max Hazzard led the Anteaters with 14 points, and five helpers while Jonathan Galloway netted another 14 points and six boards. 

Robert Cartwright gave UC Irvine seven points followed by Collin Welp, Darrian Traylor and Solomon Ruddell with six points apiece.

The UC Davis Aggies have dropped two straight following an 81-76 overtime defeat at the Cal State Northridge Matadors on Saturday.

UC Davis appeared to be a certain top four squad with five wins in a row but have lost two in a row to sit 5thin the conference standings.

Stefan Gonzalez paced the Aggies with 23 points and nine rebounds with Matt Neufeld tossed in 15 points and five boards.
