 Thursday Big West college basketball brings us the UC Irvine Anteaters opposing the UC Riverside Highlanders.

The UC Riverside Highlanders ended a month long slide with a 71-70 victory against the UC Davis Aggies as a nine point road underdog.

The Highlanders were led by Dikymbe Martin with 17 points followed by Dominick Pickett with 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

Menno Dijkstra gave UC Riverside 12 points and another ten rebounds followed Callum McRae  and Zac Watson with eleven and seven points.

The UC Irvine Anteaters completed a dominant season in the Big West with an 86-74 win against Cal State Northridge to up their conference record to 15-1.

The balanced Anteaters saw 17 points, three yanks and four assists from Evan Leonard while Max Hazzard added 16 points, three pulls and five helpers.

Tommy Rutherford gave UC Irvine ten points and eight boards followed by Jonathan Galloway and Elston Jones with eight points each and a combined 19 rebounds.
