The UC Irvine Anteaters visit the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos in a Thursday college basketball tilt.

The UC Irvine Anteaters have rattled off three consecutive wins following an 82-64 decision versus UC Riverside on Saturday as a 13 point home favorite.

UC Irvine jumped to an eleven point lead at the intermission and never let up behind a 52.5%-37.7% edge in marksmanship.

The balanced Anteaters attack was led by Elston Jones with 14 points and seven boards while Jonathan Galloway added eleven points and ten rebounds.

Max Hazzard and Tommy Rutherford gave UCI a combined 21 points with Eyassu Worku and Collin Welp tossing in seven points apiece.

The surging UC Santa Barbara Gauchos have won seven of eight after knocking off Long Beach State 82-71 on Saturday as a two point road favorite.

UC Santa Barbara was up by seven points at the halfway point and maintained the advantage throughout behind a 47.6%-41.1% shooting edge.

Ar’mond Davis carried the Gauchos with 24 points and eleven rebounds with Jaquori McLaughlin adding 15 points and five pulls.

Amadou Sow gave UCSB another 14 points and four pulls while Max Heidegger and Robinson Idehen  netted ten and eight points.

UC Irvine Anteaters are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win and are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. Big West and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. UCSB Gauchos are 16-7 ATS in their last 23 Thursday games and under is 5-2 in Gauchos last 7 vs. Big West. Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in UC Santa Barbara and under is 19-7-2 in the last 28 meetings.

These are the top two teams in the Big West and  might be better to watch then bet but I’ll back the Gauchos…
