The UNC Greensboro Spartans won their 7th straight game and improved to 14-2 (3-0 Southern) on the season after defeating the VMI Keydets, 71-68, this past Saturday. UNC Greensboro surprisingly struggled offensively against the Keydets, however, was able to prevent the upset after a Francis Alonso three-pointer with :51 seconds left in regulation gave the Spartans the lead for good. UNC Greensboro shot just 32.8% from the field & 31.8% from beyond the arc, however, did win the turnover battle by a 19-9 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Spartans was Isaiah Miller who had 17 points, 9 rebounds, & 3 assists.

Offensively, UNC Greensboro has been led by Francis Alonso (18.4 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.1 spg), Isaiah Miller (14.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.3 apg, 2.8 spg), Demetrius Troy (7.4 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 3.9 apg, 1.3 spg), and James Dickey (7.3 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.4 spg, 1.9 bpg).

The Terriers are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games following an ATS loss and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. Southern opponents. The Spartans are 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 however, are just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Wofford has won 6 of their last 7 games and has been outstanding on both sides of the ball as they rank 27th in scoring offense, 27th in FG%, 42nd in scoring defense, and 16th in rebound margin. UNC Greensboro continues to pile up victories and similar to Wofford, have been solid on both ends of the court as they rank 63rd in scoring offense, 49th in scoring defense, & 4th in turnover margin.
This is going to be one of the better games on Thursday night as Wofford & UNC Greensboro are two of the better teams in a very competitive Southern Conference this season. UNC Greensboro is a perfect 7-0 record at home however, the Spartans at times been pretty inconsistent on the offensive end which make games against Northern Alabama & VMI much closer than they expected to be. Wofford has one of the best duos in the Southern Conference in Fletcher Magee & Cameron Jackson and as I think the Terriers defense will give UNC Greensboro trouble, I'm taking Wofford to cover this small road spread.
