The UNLV Rebels host the Air Force Falcons in Tuesday college basketball.
The Air Force Falcons snapped a two game skid with an 81-76 victory against visiting Wyoming as a nine point favorite on Wednesday.
Air Force took a nine point lead in to the break but couldn’t put the Cowboys away despite a 53.3%-46.6% edge in shooting.
The Falcons saw Lavelle Scott pour in 34 points and post seven boards with Ryan Swan adding 19 points, eight rebounds and four helpers.
Air Force received 12 points and four helpers from AJ Walker followed by Caleb Morris with six points, five pulls and four assists.
The UNLV Rebels have been struggling with losses in four of five after an 83-65 defeat to visiting Fresno State on Saturday as a 1.5 point underdog.
UNLV dug themselves a 12 point hole at the halfway point and the team never challenged with Fresno State sinking shots at 53.7%.
Kris Clyburn pace the Rebels with 15 points and five pulls with Cheikh Mbacke Diong adding another 12 points and four boards.
UNLV saw eleven points from Joel Ntambwe followed Amauri Hardy and Noah Robotham with ten and eight points with Robotham handing out seven assists.
