TCU Horned Frogs (6-1) at USC Trojans (5-3)

The Line: USC Trojans +2 -- Over/Under: 148.5
The TCU Horned Frogs and the USC Trojans will meet up in college basketball action on Friday evening.
TCU comes in here at a smooth 6-1 on the season. Aside from a loss to Lipscomb, TCU has rolled through CSUB, Oral Roberts, Fresno State, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and SMU this year.
In the Mustangs game, TCU’s JD Miller and Jaylen Fisher each had 15 points, with two assists and nine rebounds between them. The Frogs also got a good effort from Kouat Noi with 12 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Over on the USC side, they’re sitting at 5-3 so far. The Trojans have taken out Robert Morris, Stetson, Missouri State, CSUB and Long Beach State but fallen to Vanderbilt, Texas Tech and Nevada this season.
In the Wolf Pack game, USC’s Nick Rakocevic had a nice double-double on 20 points, 12 rebounds and one assist, and Derryck Thornton was the only other Trojan in double-figures with 10 points, four assists and four rebounds.
The Frogs are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six following an ATS win and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Pac-12. TCU is 13-5 ATS in their last 18 neutral-site games and 1-5 ATS in their last six Friday games.
Meanwhile, the Trojans are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 neutral-site games and 5-1 ATS in their last six Friday games. USC is 7-2 ATS in their last nine versus the Big 12 and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 following an ATS loss.
TCU will start facing some stiffer competition here, and we’ll get to see what the team is made of as we get further into the season and the bigger schools start showing up on the schedule. So far things have looked decent for the Frogs, though.
That said, USC is probably not going to have a whole lot of trouble asserting themselves Friday; the Trojans’ record is misleading, as they’ve seen some very good teams this year. I’m going with USC on the cover.
