The UTEP Miners take the hardwood with the UTSA Roadrunners in Saturday college basketball.
In an odd bit of scheduling these teams square off for the second straight game after the UTSA Roadrunners took the first matchup 75-60 as a six point home favorite on Thursday.
Texas-San Antonio led by nine points at the intermission and slowly pulled away behind a 40.8%-34% shooting edge and 21 more shots.
Keaton Wallace pumped in 23 points with eight rebounds and four blocks with Jhivvan Jackson giving the Roadrunners 13 points.
Texas-San Antonio received eleven points from Nick Allen while Byron Frohnen tossed in ten points and grabbed five rebounds.
Nigel Hawkins was the top Texas El Paso scoring option with 21 points and nine rebounds. Efe Odigie gave the Miners 19 points and hauled in 16 rebounds followed by a 14 point performance by Evan Gilyard.
