MVC college basketball features the Valparaiso Crusaders hosting the Bradley Braves on Tuesday.

The Bradley Braves fell to 0-2 in the Missouri Valley after a 65-60 loss at Indiana State as a 3.5 point underdog on Saturday.

Bradley held a slight 33.3%-31.4% shooting advantage with nine more looks at the basket but the Sycamores won on 13 more makes at the stripe.

Darrell Brown was the Braves lone double digit scorer pouring in a game high 32 points with four pulls while Dwayne Lautier-Ogunieye adding eight points and nine rebounds.

Elijah Childs gave Bradley five points, six boards and four blocks followed by Nate Kennell with five points and three yanks.

The Valparaiso Crusaders kicked off their MVC schedule with consecutive wins after an 82-66 victory at Missouri State as a five point underdog on Saturday.

Valparaiso took a 22 point lead in to the intermission on the strength of a 50.9%-36.5% edge in marksmanship which was decisive.

Ryan Fazekas paced a balanced Crusaders offense with 18 points and three yanks while Bakari Evelyn added 13 points and three assists.

Valpo saw Markus Golder toss in eleven points followed by Derrik Smits and Javon Freeman with a combined 19 points with Smits totaling seven boards.

Bradley are 8-1-2 ATS in their last 11 Tuesday games and Bradley are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 road games and under is 5-2-1 in Bradley last 8 road games. Valparaiso Crusaders are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and Valparaiso Crusaders are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 home games.

Bradley worries me on the road and Valparaiso struggles ATS at home so take this with a grain of salt…
