The Sycamores are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Wednesday games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games. The Crusaders are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss, however, are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games.
Indiana State has lost 7 of their last 10 games and come into this game ranked 267th in scoring offense, 197th in scoring defense, and 223rd in defensive FG%.
Valparaiso has lost 6 of their last 10 games and although their offense has struggled putting points up on the board as they rank just 294th in scoring offense, the Crusaders have been solid defensively as they currently rank 46th in scoring defense and 143rd in defensive FG%.
Valparaiso lost by a 70-53 margin at Indiana State earlier this season, however, the Crusaders have been much better at home this season, posting a 7-5 record with solid wins over Illinois State & Bradley. Indiana State has been terrible ATS on the road this season and as I think the Sycamores are going to have trouble putting points up on the board agianst the Valparaiso defense, I’m taking the Crusaders to cover this small home spread.
