The Valparaiso Crusaders take the floor with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Sunday.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons turned to their defense to get by Cal State Fullerton in the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Friday. Wake Forest rode a 42-34 second half run to secure the victory ten more free throws and 33.9% shooting outlasting 37.5% accuracy of the Titans.

Brandon Childress and Jaylen Hoard led a balanced Demon Deacons offense with 15 points apiece and a combined eleven rebounds on 9-24 from the field. Sharone Wright Jr. gave Wake Forest 13 points and four pulls on 5-10 accuracy followed by Oliver Sarr with seven points.
The Valpo Crusaders turned to their defense in a 64-53 win against Monmouth in the losers bracket of the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Valparaiso sank half of their looks in the half court while limiting the Hawks to only 39.6% shooting which was the decisive stat.
Deion Lavender was the Crusaders go to scorer with 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists on 7-8 marksmanship followed by Ryan Fazekas with 13 points and four pulls on 5-12 from the floor. Valpo received 12 points and four pulls from Javon Freeman on 4-6 accuracy with Markus Golder tossing in eight points.
Wake Forest
 are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall and over is 9-3 in Wake Forest last 12 overall. Under is 8-2 in Valparaiso last 10 non-conference games and Valparaiso are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games.
