The #16 Villanova Wildcats host the Butler Bulldogs in a Big East college basketball tilt.

The Butler Bulldogs are looking to bounce back from a 73-67 OT loss to the Providence Friars as a 5.5 point home favorite on Tuesday.

Kamar Baldwin was the Bulldogs go to scorer with 27 points and six boards with Jordan Tucker adding 15 points and three yanks.

Another ten points and four pulls came from Nate Fowler followed Joey Burke who gave Butler seven points and four boards.

The Villanova Wildcats are eyeing consecutive wins after knocking off the Marquette Golden Eagles 67-61 on Wednesday.

Villanova lost their grip on the top spot in the Big East thanks to a three game skid that ended Tuesday but there are just two games left to play.

Jermaine Samuels carried the Wildcats offense with a game high 29 points and nine rebounds while Phil Booth added 17 points, five pulls and seven helpers.

I’m not sure what to make of Villanova but I don’t think Butler will stop them and will have to score to score to keep up…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
