The St. John's Red Storm are allowing 38.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 31.3 rebounds per game. The St. John's Red Storm haven’t won a road game since January 25 of last year.
The Villanova Wildcats look to stay hot while building on their nine-game winning streak. The Villanova Wildcats are averaging 88.4 points on 51 percent shooting and allowing 69.8 points on 43.5 percent shooting. Jalen Brunson is averaging 19.4 points and five assists while Mikal Bridges is averaging 16.9 points and 5.8 rebounds. The Villanova Wildcats are allowing 33 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32.7 rebounds per game. The Villanova Wildcats haven’t lost a home game since February 22 of last year.
The Red Storm are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Big East and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Big East, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The over is 4-0 in Wildcats last 4 overall and the under is 6-2 in Red Storm last 8 road games.
The St. John's Red Storm hung around with Villanova in the last meeting, losing by just seven points as 11.5 point underdogs. St. John's also showed there may be a little bit of life left in this team after beating Duke as monster underdogs during the weekend. The Villanova Wildcats have been the most consistent team in the league, as they're elite at both ends of the floor and cover numbers along with rolling SU. However, this feels like a lot of points to lay, as St. Johns has competed despite all these losses, and it's only being outscored by seven points on the road this season. I'll take a stab with the points here.
