Virginia Tech Hokies +4 O/U 146
The Duke Blue Devils and the Virginia Tech Hokes will be meeting up on the college basketball court Tuesday.
Duke enters this one at 24-3 on the year. After a lengthy winning streak, the Blue Devils fell on February 20 versus North Carolina 88-72, but jumped back in the win column aigrets NC State in their last outing.
In the win over the Orange, Duke’s RJ Barrett logged 30 points with seven assists and five rebounds. Alex O’Connell added 20 points with five rebounds there, and the Devils’ Tre Jones managed 11 points.
Over on the Virginia Tech side, they’re 21-6 on the year. The Hokies have won three of their last four games, dropping to Virginia and beating Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame in that span.
In their win over the Irish, Virginia Tech’s lead scorer was Kery Blackshear with 22 points 14 rebounds and three assists. Nickels Alexander-Walker was the second highest-scorer there for the Hokies on 12 points.
The Blue Devils are 5-1 ATS in their last six Tuesday games and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. Duke is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS win and the under is 7-0 in their last seven Tuesday games.
Meanwhile, the Hokies are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine Tuesday games and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine after as straight up win. The Hokies are 1-4-1 in their last six versus the ACC and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games.
There’s no getting around it—Duke is Duke, and though they’ve had a few falters here and there this season, there’s not reason to panic here especially with the comeback win over Syracuse in the mix.
Virginia Tech is on quite a run as well lately, and though they’re not blowing out people on the scoreboard right now they’re still taking care of busness. I’m going to take the Hokies if I can find a good line, otherwise it’s Duke here.
