Sweet 16 college basketball action features the Duke Blue Devils taking the floor with the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The Virginia Tech Hokies rallied from a three point halftime hole to down the upset minded Liberty Flames 67-58 to move on to round three of the NCAA’s.

Kerry Blackshear Jr. carried the Hokies with a contest high 19 points and six boards with Ahmed Hill tossing in another 14 points with two steals.

Virginia Tech saw 13 points and four assists from Justin Robinson followed by Ty Outlaw who netted ten points and hauled in eleven rebounds.

The Duke Blue Devils survived a pair of shots in the waning seconds by Central Florida to squeeze by the Knights 77-76 to advance to the Sweet 16.

Zion Williamson was the Blue Devils top gun with 32 points, eleven rebounds and four assists with RJ Barrett adding 16 points, eight boards and four helpers.

Cam Reddish gave Duke 13 points and four pulls followed by Tre Jones who contributed another eleven points, three yanks and four helpers.

Virginia Tech Hokies are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss and  are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games and  are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up win and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 NCAA Tournament games.

Teams that go deep in the NCAA tournament survive a game that could have eliminated them. We saw that with Duke against UCF and the Blue Devils respond here with a big no doubt about it win…
