The VMI Keydets host the Chattanooga Mocs in Thursday college basketball action.

The Chattanooga Mocs are mired in a four game slide after a 77-64 defeat to visiting East Tennessee as a 9.5 point underdog.

Chattanooga was up three points at the break but could not stop the Buccaneers who held a 51.8%-42.6% edge in marksmanship.

Kevin Easley topped the Mocs offense  with  12 points  and  five pulls while Donovann Toatley tossed in another 12 points.

Ramon Vila gave Chattanooga ten points and four boards followed by Jerry Johnson Jr. who tossed in another eight points.

The VMI Keydets fell to 1-8 in the  SoCon  following a 93-66 loss at UNC-Greensboro as a 17 point underdog a week ago.

VMI fell behind by ten points after 20 minutes and never recovered with just 36.7% shooting to lean on while the Spartans hit at 58.1%.

The Keydets were balanced offensively with Bubba Parham leading the way with 12 points and four assists while Myles Lewis and Greg Parham tossing in eleven points each.

VMI saw ten points, seven rebounds and four helpers from Garrett Gilkeson followed by Jake Stephens with eight points.
