The Cornell Big Red visit the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Tuesday college basketball action.

The Cornell Big Red improved to 6-7 with a 61-50 victory against visiting Navy on Sunday as an eight point favorite. 

Cornell trailed 24-21 at the halfway point before a 40-26 second half run secured the win. 

Matt Morgan topped the Big Red offense with a contest high 27 points and eight rebounds on 7-16 accuracy and 11-12 at the line.

Steven Julien gave Cornell nine points and 15 rebounds and four blocks on 3-5 shooting and 3-7 at the stripe while Terrance McBride and Jake Kuhn combined for eleven points.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have dropped consecutive contests following a 73-69 loss to Gardner-Webb as a seven point home favorite on Saturday. 

Both teams sank shots in the 33%-35% range with Wake Forest coming up short at the charity stripe 35-28 which was decisive.

Brandon Childress led the Demon Deacons with 18 points, three yanks, three assists and four steals on 4-11 from the floor and 8-11 at the line.

Jalen Hoard, Torry Johnson and Chaundee Brown each gave Wake Forest 12 points and a combined 14 rebounds on 9-25 shooting.
