Wake Forest Demon Deacons +4 O/U: 143
The Miami Hurricanes and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will meet up on the college basketball circuit Tuesday.
Miami comes in here with a 12-14 mark on the year. The Hurricanes are 3-2 in their last five outings, beating Notre Dame, Clemson and Georgia Tech (along with losses to BC and UNC) in that time.
In the win over the Yellow Jackets, Miami’s lead scorer was Dejan Vasilijevic, with 21 points, four assists and five boards. Anthony Lawrence added 16 points and 10 rebounds there to double up for the Canes.
Over on the Wake Forest side, they’re 10-16 this season. The Deacons are just 1-3 in the last three games, beating Notre dame and falling to Florida State, UNC and NC State in that time.
In the loss to the Wolfpac, Wake’s lead scorer was Jaylen Hoard on 17 points, four rebounds and two assists. Brandon Childress added 15 points with four assists and three rebounds for the Demon Deacons there as well.
Miami is 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and 5-1 ATS in their las six versus the Atlantic Coast. The Hurricanes are 2-5 ATS in the last seven Tuesday games and 1-4 ATS in the last five games following a straight-up win.
Meanwhile, the Deacons are 6-13 ATS in their lsat 19 after an ATS loss and 5-11 ATS in their last six home games. Wake is 7-24 ATS in their lsat 31 versus ACC and 2-7 ATS in their last nine overall.
Aside from the 57 point road dud against Boston College, the Hurricanes have been playing pretty well overall. It is worth nothing that they've provided fewer than 66 points in three of their last five games.
As for Wake Forest, they’ve had a few scoring duds themselves lately, and I wouldn’t be surpassed to see this as a really close game. I’m going to take the Deacons to eke by here.
