Washington Huskies -6.5 O/U: 131.5
The Oregon State Beavers and the Washington Huskies will match up on the college basketball court Wednesday.
Oregon State is sitting at 17-11 on the season. The Beavers are just 1-3 in their last four games, with a win over USC mixed in with losses to UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State in that time.
In the loss to the Sun Devils, Oregon State’s top scorer was Tres Tinkle on 24 points with six rebounds and three assists. Ethan Thompson doubled up for the Beavers there on 20 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, and Stephen Thompson put up 10 points.
Over on the Washington side, they’re 23-6 this season. The Huskies are 4-1 in their last five outings, falling to California and beating Washington State, Utah, Colorado and Stanford otherwise.
In the win over the Cardinal, Washington’s Jaylen Nowell led the team on 13 points with six rebounds and one assist. The only other Huskies player in double-figures there was Noah Dickerson with 12 points and five boards.
The Beavers are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six Wednesday games. Oregon State is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 after an ATS loss and the under is 4-1 in their last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Huskies are 7-0 ATS in their last seven home games and 12-2 ATS in their last 14 after a straight-up win. Washington is 12-4 ATS in their last 16 overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games.
Even though Oregon State’s record isn’t great over the past few games, the team has been competitive in every outing. The Beavers’ last three losses have come by just six combined points.
That said, Washington has been pretty consistent on the scoreboard as well, even though they’ve had a few lulls here and there. This should be a tight game and it’s one I’m avoiding, but I’m tentatively taking the Huskies on the home cover here.
