The Drexel Dragons go on the road to oppose the William & Mary Tribe in Thursday college basketball.

The Drexel Dragons were denied a third  straight  win in  a 76-75 defeat against Delaware on Saturday  as a 4.5 point road dog.

Drexel was down eleven points at the intermission before a late comeback fell just short behind 45.3% shooting and 21 forced turnovers leading to 12 more shots.

The balanced Dragons offense saw 16 points and four helpers from Troy Harper with Trevor John netting another 15 points.

James Butler and Alihan Demir gave Drexel 13 points apiece and 13 rebounds followed by Camren Wynter with eleven points, four pulls and five assists.

The slumping William & Mary Tribe have lost five straight following a 74-59 defeat to Charleston as a 7.5 point road underdog.

William & Mary were down five points at the half but could not get stops with the Cougars holding a 50.9%-43.4% shooting edge.

Nathan Knight paced the Tribe attack with 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists with Justin Pierce adding 18 points and six boards.

William & Mary saw Matt Milon toss in ten points followed by Chase Audige with six points, seven rebounds and four helpers.

Drexel Dragons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Colonial Athletic Association. William & Mary Tribe are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall and  are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Colonial Athletic Association. Over is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings in William & Mary and Drexel Dragons are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in William & Mary.

I think Drexel might be a bit better then advertised and I’d grab the points…
