The UNC Greensboro Spartans will travel to Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium to take on the Wofford Terriers this Saturday night in College Basketball action.

The UNC Greensboro Spartans had their 8-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 22-4 (11-2 Southern) on the season after being defeated by the Furman Paladins, 67-57, this past Thursday. UNC Greensboro had no answers on the offensive end against the Furman defense and couldn’t fight back after Furman took a 57-48 lead with just 4:10 left in regulation. UNC Greensboro shot just 35.5% from the field and 26.1% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Spartans was Isaiah Miller who had 16 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 4 steals.

The Wofford Terriers won their 13th straight game and improved to 22-4 (14-0 Southern) on the season after defeating the VMI Keydets, 95-84, this past Thursday night. Wofford had their way on the offensive end against the Keydets and had little trouble securing the victory after going into halftime with a 53-28 lead. Wofford shot 52.5% from the field and 51.7% from beyond the arc in the victory. Leading the way for the Terriers was Storm Murphy who had 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The Spartans are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The Terriers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following an ATS loss.

UNC Greensboro has won 15 of their last 17 games and currently rank 66th in scoring offense, 76th in FG%, and 52nd in defensive FG%.

Wofford continues to pile up wins in a very tough Southern Conference and comes into this game ranked 15th in scoring offense, 10th in FG%, and 57th in scoring defense.

These are two of the best teams in the Southern Conference although Wofford had no trouble taking care of business agianst UNC Greensboro on the road earlier this season, as the Terriers handled the Spartans their worst loss of season in a 72-43 blowout. Wofford has an outstanding duo in Fletcher Magee & Cameron Jackson, however, the Spartans are a better team than what they showed at home agianst the Terriers and between the fact that UNC Greensboro won at Wofford last season and that they have a defense that can slow down the high-powered Wofford offense, I think that UNC Greensboro will cover with he points. Good Luck!

UNC Greensboro Spartans +8.5
