Wright State Raiders -12 O/U: 138.5
The Milwaukee Panthers and the Wright State Raiders will meet up in college basketball action on Thursday.
Milwaukee enters this one at 9-11 on the year. The Panthers are 3-1 in their last three games though, falling to Detroit but taking out Oakland, UIC and IUPUI in that stretch of outings.
In the win over the Jaguars, Milwaukee’s Darius Roy led the charge on 25 points, four rebounds and two assists. Also in double-figures for the Panthers there was DeAndre Abram, with 19 points and five rebounds.
Over on the Wright State side, they’re currently 10-10 this year. The Raiders are 3-1 in their last three games as well, falling to Northern Kentucky and beating Oakland, Youngstown State and Cleveland State during that span.
In the win over the Vikings, Wright State’s top scorer was Loudon Love, with 23 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Billy Wampler put up 21 points for the Raiders there, and Cole Gentry added 14 points.
Milwaukee is 34-14-3 ATS in their last 51 Thursday games and 13-6 ATS in their last 19 versus the Horizon league. The Panthers are 1-4 ATS in their last five after an ATS win and the under is 6-2 in their last eight Thursday games.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last five after a straight-up win and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games. Wright State is 0-5 ATS in their last five Thursday games and the over is 4-1 in their last five overall.
Milwaukee’s recent record looks pretty solid, but the stat sheet isn’t exactly inspiring in a few of those games. Still, the Panthers have shown improved play recently and are capable of putting up good points totals.
That said, Wright State seems a little more consistent and should log another sizable final score here. I like the over, and the line is just thick enough that I think Milwaukee can sneak in there.
