Wright State Raiders -1.5 O/U: 139.5
The Northern Kentucky Norse and the Wright State Raiders will meet up on the college basketball court Friday.
Northern Kentucky heads into this one with a 20-6 mark on the year. Following consecutive losses to IUPUI and UIC, the Norse have won their last two games versus Detroit and Oakland.
In the win over the Grizzlies, Northern Kentucky’s Drew McDonald led the team on 21 points, 13 rebounds and two assists. Jalen Tate would add 19 points, six assists and four rebounds for the Norse in that one as well.
Over on the Wright State side, they’re 15-11 this year. The Raiders have won their last three straight games, taking out IUPUI, Oakland and Detroit during that stretch of outings.
In the win over the Titans, Wright State’s Loudon Love led the team on 17 points with eight rebounds. Both Malachi Smith and Skyelar Potter added 14 points apiece for the Raiders there, and combined for eight assists with 10 rebounds.
The Norse are 3-9 ATS in the last 12 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five after an ATS win. Northern Kentucky is 1-5 ATS in their last six versus a team with a winning straight-up record and the over is 4-1 in their last five road games.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Horizon League. Wright State is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 home games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Friday games.
It seems Northern Kentucky is back on track after a couple of road hiccups, posting 97 and 79 points respectively in their last two games. That’s a nice uptick over the Norse’s 144 points across their previous two games combined.
Still, with Wright State at home and sitting on a nice three-game run, I’m going to stick with the Raiders here. Should be an interesting matchup, however.
