The Fresno State Bulldogs had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 14-5 (5-2 MW) after being defeated by the Colorado State Rams, 74-65, this past Saturday. Fresno State struggled offensively against the Rams and couldn’t fight back after a 10-0 Rams run to start the 2nd half gave Colorado State a 43-30 lead with 15:41 left in regulation. Fresno State shot just 35.9% from the field & 26.7% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Deshon Taylor who had 24 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals.

The Wyoming Cowboys dropped to 5-15 (1-6 MW) on the season after being defeated by the Boise State Broncos, 77-52, this past Saturday. Wyoming had no answers on the offensive end for the Broncos defense and couldn’t fight back after the Cowboys went into halftime trailing by a 28-14 margin. Wyoming shot just 39.5% from the field & 12.5% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Cowboys was Hunter Thompson who had 19 points, 4 rebounds, and an assist.

The Cowboys have been hit hard by injury this season and will be without both Hunter Maldonado & Jake Hendricks due to injury.
Defensively, Wyoming is allowing their opponents to average 75.1 ppg on 44.5% shooting from the field. The Cowboys have a rebound margin of -7.0 and a turnover margin of -1.6.
The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Cowboys are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games following a ATS loss and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
Fresno State has won 5 of their last 7 games and have been solid on both sides of the ball this season as they Bulldogs rank 111th in scoring offense, 47th in scoring defense, and 75th in defensive FG%. Wyoming has lost 6 of their last 7 games and have really struggled in all aspects of the game as they come into this match-up ranked just 321st in scoring offense, 313th in scoring offense, and 263rd in scoring defense.
Fresno State had a surprisingly difficult time with Colorado State, however, it’s hard not to imagine the Bulldogs, who have been solid ATS on the road this season, won’t be able to get back against the injury-riddled Cowboys. Fresno State’s should have a huge advantage on the boards in this one and as their defense is going to give Wyoming some trouble, I’m taking the Bulldogs to cover this large road spread. Good Luck!
