The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels will match up against the Wyoming Cowboys in college basketball activity on Tuesday.

The Rebels come into this one at 14-11 on the season. UNLV has won three of their last four games, taking out Boise State, Air Force and San Jose State during that stretch of outings.

In the win over the Spartans, UNLV’s top scorer was Joel Ntambwe, with 20 points and two rebounds. Amauri Hardy added 15 points for the Rebels in that one, and Kris Clyburn posted 14 rebounds.

Over on the Wyoming side, they’re 6-19 this season. The Cowboys have dropped five of their last six games, falling to Boise State, Fresno State, Air Force, Utah State and Nevada during that span.

In the loss to the Wolf Pack, Wyoming’s lead scorer was Justin James on 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Trevon TJ Taylor was the only other Cowboys player in double-figures there with his 13 points and eight rebounds.

The Rebels are 10-25-4 ATS in their last 39 after an ATS loss and 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 after a straight-up win. UNLV is 10-30-5 ATS in their last 45 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven overall.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five versus the Mountain West and 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 overall. Wyoming is 0-6 ATS in their last six Tuesday games and 5-13-1 ATS in their last 19 after an ATS loss.

UNLV’s 71-64 win over a not-so-good San Jose State team was a little too close for comfort, and the Rebels were actually down at halftime before turning things on in the second half.

Still, with the Cowboys putting up only 108 combined points across their last two games, I don’t have any issues taking the Rebels on the road cover here.
