Saturday college basketball action pits the Cleveland State Vikings at the Youngstown State Penguins.

The Cleveland State Vikings come off a huge upset of the Northern Kentucky Norse as a 15.5 point road dog a week ago.

Despite the upset, Cleveland State is still mired in the Horizon League basement with opponents able to crack the 80 point plateau too often.

Jaalam Hill led the upset of the Norse with 26 points and 12 rebounds with Tyree Appleby giving the Vikings 15 points and eight helpers.

Cleveland State saw another 15 points from Rashad Williams followed by Seth Miller and Deante Johnson with a combined 14 points and 14 rebounds.

The Youngstown State Penguins have lost two in a row following an 82-54 defeat at the hands of first place Wright State.

Youngstown State had reeled off six consecutive victories but have since two straight and at the end of the day are 7thin the standings.

Michael Akuchie was the Penguins only double digit scorer with 12 points and four pulls with Darius Quisenberry netting eight points.

Naz Bohannon and Garrett Covington gave Youngstown State another seven points each with Donel Cathcart III chipping in with six points.
