Oakland Grizzlies (5-9) at Youngstown State Penguins (4-10)

The Line: Youngstown State Penguins +3 -- Over/Under: 155.5
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies and the Youngstown State Penguins will meet up in college basketball action on Sunday.
Oakland rolls into this one at 5-9 on the season. The Grizzlies’ victories have come courtesy of Defiance, James Madison, Oral Roberts, Fairfield and Cleveland State this year.
In the Vikings game, Oakland’s Jaevin Cumberland posted 27 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Xavier Hill-Mais almost had a double-double for the Grizzlies with 21 points and nine rebounds there.
Over on the Youngstown State side, they’re 4-10 this year. The Penguins have lost six of their last seven games, falling to Robert Morris, West Virginia, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Ohio State and Detroit in that span.
In the Detroit game, Youngstown State’s Donel Cathcart put up 17 points with three rebounds and two assists, while Garrett Covington managed 15 points, three assists and three rebounds. Darius Quisneberry added 12 and six rebounds for the Penguins.
The Grizzlies are 10-22 ATS in their last 32 overall and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 following an ATS win. Oakland is 5-17 ATS in their last 22 versus the Horizon League and 0-6 ATS in their last six Sunday games.
Meanwhile, the Penguins are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven following an ATS loss. Youngstown State is 1-5 ATS in their last six home games and 0-5 ATS in the last five versus the Horizon League.
My issue with Oakland is that they give up a ton of points more often than not, and even though the Grizzlies can score pretty well, it’s tough to win when that’s going on.
As for Youngstown State, they’re not really great scorers but can tighten up fairly well defensively from time to time.
All things considered though, I have to go Oakland here.
