The Utah Utes will travel to play the Arizona Wildcats in a Pac-12 conference matchup this Saturday.
The Arizona Wildcats are coming off of a loss to USC this past weekend. The Arizona offense is averaging 36.7 points per game with 502.2 yards per game. Quarterback Anu Solomon leads the Arizona offense with 2061 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. Nick Wilson is the leading rusher for Arizona with 691 yards and 8 touchdowns. Wilson is questionable with an injury this weekend so the backup back for Arizona is Jared Baker who has 622 yards and 6 touchdowns. Cayleb Jones is the leading receiver for Arizona with 539 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Arizona defense is giving up 34.6 points per game with 455.3 yards per game. Arizona’s defense has 19 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries, and 6 interceptions. Arizona has a very good offense but is continued to be let down by their poor defensive play. Arizona is 5-5 this season and needs to win one more game to be bowl eligible.
The Utah Utes are coming off of a win against Washington in their last game. The Utah offense is averaging 33.8 points per game with 383.3 yards per game. Quarterback Travis Wilson leads the Utah offense with 1587 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. Devontae Booker is the leading rusher for Utah with 1116 yards and 10 touchdowns. Britain Covey is the leading receiver for Utah with 450 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Utah defense is giving up 21.6 points per game with 365.5 yards per game. Utah’s defense has 26 sacks, 9 interceptions, and 14 interceptions. Utah is 8-1 this season, with their only loss coming at USC. Utah is currently leading the Pac-12 South and is looking to get to the conference championship game.
Utah is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games. Utah is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS win. The over is 4-0 in Utah’s 4 road games. Arizona is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games. Arizona is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games against teams with a winning road record. The over is 6-1 in Arizona’s last 7 home games. The under is 6-2 in these two teams last 8 meetings. The road team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
Arizona’s defense has let down Arizona in almost all of their games, as they have given up at least 38 points in three straight games. Utah, on the other hand, has a good defensive unit and an average offensive unit. Even though Utah is on the road, I expect Utah to win this game by more than a touchdown.
