CFB | Duke Blue Devils (2-0) at Baylor Bears (2-0)
Mark Dolejs-USA TODAY Sports

The Duke Blue Devils and the Baylor Bears will be meeting up at McLane Stadium on Saturday in college football activity.

Duke enters this game feeling good at 2-0 so far. The Devils took out Army 34-14 in their opener, then made it two in a row with a trip to Northwestern this past Saturday and a 21-7 victory.

Duke QB Daniel Jones is sitting on 389 yards with four TDs so far, while Brittain Brown leads the rush on 109 yards and a TD. Johnathan Lloyd is the leading Blue Devils receiver on 126 yards and one TD.

As for Baylor, they’re sitting on a 2-0 record as well. The Bears started things out with a 55-27 win over Abilene Christian, then kept it going with a 37-20 win over UTSA on the road back on Saturday.

Charlie Brewer leads the Bears at QB, and he’s got 466 yards, three TDs and a pick so far. John Lovett is the top Baylor rusher on 162 yards and three scores, while Denzel Mims has 213 yards and a TD from 11 catches.

The Devils are 4-0 ATS in their last four versus a team with a winning record and 5-0 ATS in their last five overall. Duke is 6-1 ATS in their last seven in September and 20-5-1 ATS in their last 26 non-conference games.

Meanwhile, the Bears are 1-3-1 ATS in the last five games overall and 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games in September. Baylor is 0-4 ATS in the last four home games and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five non-conference games.

All things considered, this should be a pretty evenly-matched game. Both these teams have shown some solid depth and gotten contributions from a lot of offensive sources. Baylor in particular seems to have a lot of weapons this season, and it will be interesting to see what they can do here. I’m going Bears in what should be a fun game to watch.

Pick:
Baylor Bears +4
