Johnson has eight passing touchdowns in his last three games. Roger Lewis and Gehrig Dieter have combined for 2,283 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns while Ronnie Moore has 62 receptions. The Northern Illinois Huskies look for their fourth MAC title and fourth in the last five seasons. Defensively, Northern Illinois is allowing 24.8 points and 391.8 yards per game. Boomer Mays leads the Huskies with 92 tackles, Shawun Lurry has eight interceptions and Perez Ford has five sacks. Tommylee Lewis is questionable with an ankle injury.
The Falcons are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Huskies are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games and 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Bowling Green is the most consistent team in the MAC and has topped 40 points in six of its last eight games. Hard to see Northern Illinois keeping up when its on its fifth string quarterback. I like the Falcons to win this by two touchdowns.
