Tuesday college football brings us to the MAC where the Buffalo Bulls welcome the Miami (OH) Redhawks to UB Stadium.
The Miami (OH) Redhawks saw an opportunity at a three game winning streak end in a 31-30 overtime loss at Army as a touchdown road dog. Miami (OH) outgained the Black Knights 406-347 but needed a 14-0 4th quarter to force OT where the game was lost on a failed two point conversion.
Redhawks quarterback Gus Ragland carried the offense by completing 30-53 for 329 yards and four touchdowns while running 14 times for a team high 56 yards.
The Miami (OH) receiving did plenty of damage with Jack Sorenson leading the way with 75 yards on five catches while Jalen Walker and Kenny Young combined for 142 yards on 13 receptions with Young hauling in a 34 yard TD followed by Luke Mayock with an 18 yard scoring strike in OT.
The Buffalo Bulls improved to 7-1 with a 31-17 victory at Toledo in week nine as a field goal road dog. Buffalo dominated total yardage 463-295 in a sloppy contest that featured a combined seven turnovers.
The Bulls leaned on quarterback Tyree Jackson who connected on 25-46 for 326 yards and a pair of touchdowns along with a season high three interceptions.
Jaret Patterson topped the Bulls on the ground with 90 yards on 20 touches and a pair of trips to the end zone followed by Kevin Parks with 49 yards on 15 totes. KJ Osborn was the Bulls top receiving option with seven receptions for 90 yards while Anthony Johnson caught four passes with a pair of scores.
