The Michigan Wolverines were 9-3 this season and finished third in the Big Ten East Division standings. The Michigan offense is averaging 31 points per game with 234.3 passing yards per game and 152.7 rushing yards per game. Jake Rudock is the Michigan quarterback who is completing 64% of his passes for 2739 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. Rudock is questionable with an injury for this game, but his backup his Wilton Speight who has 73 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. Michigan had a god first year under their new coach, but could not find a way to beat either Michigan State or Ohio State. Michigan did find success in the passing game this season behind Jake Rudock, but it is important that he is healthy to play in this game. Michigan’s defense was the best part of their team, posting three consecutive shutouts against BYU, Maryland, and Northwestern. Florida had a great year, but was really challenged offensively after their starting quarterback was suspended. Florida also has a very good defense, so this game should be low scoring. I think Michigan will be able to squeak this game out due to having the slightly better offense.
