The Line: Central Michigan Chippewas +1 -- Over/Under:
The Western Michigan Broncos clash with the Central Michigan Chippewas at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
The Western Michigan Broncos have played good football all season but really have been putting things together. The Broncos head to Central Michigan riding a five game winning streak following a 51-7 rout of visiting Eastern Michigan. The Broncos have been dominant on both sides of the ball as they took a 48-0 lead after 30 minutes and never looked back. The defense held Reginald Bell Jr. and the Eagles attack to 370 yards which was no match for the Broncos 497 yards. Darevon Chance, Fabian Johnson and Zach Terrell combined for 138 rushing yards but WMU really prospered in the air with Terrell having a near perfect day on 17-19 for 357 yards and four touchdowns with Corey Davis caching a 54 yard TD.
The Central Michigan Chippewas have been on a role of their own with a postseason berth within their grasp. The Chippewas have won three i a row and five of sic after knocking offMiami (Ohio) 34-27nin week 12 action. The Redhawks actually led in yardage 471-427 with CMU being able to run and throw equally well. Devon Spalding paced the Chips on the ground with 147 yards on 22 touches with two yard and 51 yard scoring runs. Cooper Rush was just as effective through the air by completing 16-23 for 218 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Titus Davis was the receiver choice with eight catches for 102 yards and all three TD's.
The Broncos are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. win and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game while the Broncos are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win. For Central Michigan the under is 4-0 in Chippewas last 4 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game while the Chippewas are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games in November with the under is 9-2 in Chippewas last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Head to head the favorite is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the Broncos are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings. Both teams are playing great but WMU is 10-0 ATS which is what I like here...
