This Friday night game takes us to Boulder, CO for a PAC 12 showdown between the USC Trojans and the Colorado Buffaloes.  USC enters this road contest with a 4-3 record and a 3-1 record in the PAC 12. The Trojans are coming off a convincing 41-14 win over Arizona.  The Buffaloes are 3-4 on the season and 1-3 in the PAC 12. Colorado is on a 3 game losing streak, with losses against Arizona, Oregon, and Washington State.  Most recently the Buffaloes lost at Washington State 41-10 this past Saturday.

The Trojans season to this point has been hit with the injury bug and it was no different this past Saturday.  The Trojans lost their top safety Talanoa Hufanga and defensive end Drake Johnson in the game.  Running backs Stephen Carr and Markese Stepp also picked up injuries in the game.  It is unknown if these players will be out for this weeks game. Quarterback Kedon Slovis had passing touchdowns to Michael Pittman Jr. and Tyler Vaughns in the game. Slovis completed 19/28 for 232 yds in the game.

Colorado quarterback Steven Montez was 16/30 for 129 yds and had 2 interceptions. Running back Alex Fontenot had 11 carries for 105 yds in the loss to Washington State. Montez on the season is 153/240 for 1,723 yds and a TD/INT ratio of 10/8. Tony Brown leads the way with 37 receptions, 480 yds receiving, and 4 touchdowns. The Buffaloes have totaled 10 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Betting Trends since 2018:

USC is 6-7 ATS in conference games.

USC is 3-6 ATS in away games.

The over is 3-6 when USC is a road team.

Colorado is 4-9 ATS in conference games.

Colorado is 3-6 ATS as a home team.

The under is 7-4 when Colorado is an underdog.

Neither team has been very good ATS over the last year and a half.  I myself will not bet this game, however it seems the under would be a logical play here.  The over is 3-6 when USC is a road team since 2018 and the under has been profitable when Colorado is a home team since 2018.  The Buffaloes have also scored a total of 13 points in the last two weeks.  Take the under in this game.  Final score prediction, USC wins and the total goes under 38-17.
