The Line: Dartmouth Big Green -34 -- Over/Under: 49
The Cornell Big Red and Dartmouth Big Green square off Friday night at Memorial Field.
The Cornell Big Red could use a big road win here to snap an eight-game losing streak. Robert Somborn is completing 54.6 percent of his passes for 1,449 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Somborn has five passing touchdowns in his last two games. Ben Rogers and Marshall Deutz have combined for 617 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Matt Sullivan has 17 receptions. The Cornell Big Red ground game is averaging 124.7 yards per contest, and Luke Hagy leads the way with 507 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Cornell is allowing 34.5 points and 443 yards per game. Nick Gesualdi leads the Big Red with 38 tackles, Rush Imhotep has an interception and Jackson Weber has two sacks.
The Dartmouth Big Green have not lost back-to-back games since the 2013 season. Dalyn Williams is completing 64.6 percent of his passes for 2,017 yards, 14 touchdowns and one interception. Williams has four touchdown passes in his last three games. Victor Williams and Ryan McManus have combined for 1,193 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Jon Marc Carrier has 19 receptions. The Dartmouth Big Green ground game is averaging 138.9 yards per contest, and Ryder Stone leads the way with 274 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Dartmouth is allowing 10 points and 283.7 yards per game. Will McNamara leads the Big Green with 46 tackles, Folarin Orimolade has seven sacks and David Caldwell has four interceptions.
Dartmouth is the far better team here and has a defense that should be able to keep Cornell in check with ease. However, even with all that said, the Big Green haven't been known to blow teams out this season and usually just cruise to a solid victory. There haven't been a lot of wins by 30-plus points for Dartmouth.
I'll take my chances with the Big Red and the points here.
